Sahlab - How to make sahlab

Sahlab is one of the most popular hot drinks in the middle east in cafes, as well as in homes. To warm up during winter, learn how to make warm, sweet, aromatic Sahlab , Enjoy this simple Lebanese Sahlab Recipe!

Ingredients - Serves 2 persons
1 teaspoon sahlab dissolved in a 1/4 cup milk
2 cups cold milk
Sugar according to taste

Preparation
In a pot, pour the milk and the salep and milk mixture and bring to the boil, stirring, over gentle heat.

When the mixture comes to the boil, remove from the heat and place in small cups. Garnish with sprinkling of cinnamon.

Serve hot.
