Chicken shawarma and chicken kebab

I have never eaten such a delicious chicken shawarma recipe made this way before. Most delicious recipe. The best homemade chicken shawarma and chicken shish kebab recipe the ideal marinade.

Ingredients and preparation

Let's marinate the shawarma

Three tbsps of yogurt

One fourth of a cup of lemon juice

One fourth of a cup of canola oil

Two tbsps of vinegar

One tsp each of cumin, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder

Half a tsp of cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger powder, black pepper, and turmeric

Half a tsp of salt

Mix everything

Cut the chicken breast into thin slices

Add the chicken breast slices

I used a large chicken breast

Cover it

Leave it to marinate in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 5 hours

Let's now prepare the chicken kebab

Cut the chicken breast into cubes

I used two chicken breasts

Let's make the marinade for the kebab

One medium sized onions

Garlic and hot pepper to taste

One fourth of a cup of yogurt

One tbsp of pepper paste

Half a tbsp of tomato paste

One tbsp each of coriander and paprika, and half a tsp each of black pepper, cardamom, and turmeric

Half a tbsp of salt

One fourth of a cup of lemon juice

One third of a cup of olive oil

Two tbsps of vinegar

Blend in the blender

Pour the marinade over the chicken

Cover it

Let it marinate in the refrigerator  for 6 hours or at least 2 hours 

Let's now prepare the shawarma roll

Cover a raw potato with parchment paper and aluminum foil

Put it in a small oven safe bowl

Stick the skewer through the potato

Stack the chicken slices

Use more skewer sticks to support it from the sides

Place it in an oven safe pan

Let's prepare the chicken kebab

Preheated oven

Oven temperature at 450°f, 250°c

Roast the kebab skewers for 15 minutes while occasionally turning them into the other sides

Roast the shawarma for about 30 minutes

Let's make the shawarma sandwich

Parsley
