ARAX has been established for over 30 years at the same address at 670 Willoughby Road, Willoughby

The restaurant has been serving fine Italian-style pizzas for more than a generation - and it's been a recognised part of Sydney's residential North Shore all that time... the restaurant was recently granted Heritage status by the local council.

Proprietors Marcelle and Michael Khawam bought the restaurant when they first arrived in Australia from Lebanon thirty years ago, and they have operated the family firm at the same address all that time - and their son Tony, now a qualified chef, has grown up in the business.

ARAX is named after a river in Michael's native Armenia and now provides an extensive menu of Fine Lebanese Food in the spacious and comfortable Restaurant.

Michael and Tony's cooking skills and Marcelle's courteous and efficient management have won ARAX the North Shore Business Award for 2006 - but even more important - they have won the hearts and loyalty of an ever-increasing clientele on the North Shore and across Sydney.

The friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant is maintained six nights a week, and Saturday entertainment includes a captivating and very talented traditional Belly Dancer who thrills the audience and invites participation from any brave patrons..!

ARAX offers fine food in delicious traditional styles of Lebanon, Armenia and Italy - all in relaxed and sophisticated surroundings - a once-in-a-lifetime treat that you can enjoy six nights a week..!
