Cooking an amazingly TASTY Tandoori Chicken in the easiest way!

Tandoori Chicken

Ingredients:

One chicken cut into 4 pieces 

Half a cup of yogurt (120 grams)

One tbsp of garlic (15 grams)

One tbsp of ginger (15 grams)

One fourth of a cup of vegetable oil

Juice of half a lemon

One tbsp chili powder

One tbsp smoked paprika

One tsp cumin

One tsp coriander

One tsp garam masala

One tsp fenugreek

Salt to taste

One fifth of a tsp each of red and orange food coloring

Instructions:

Preparing the Marinade:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, garlic, ginger, vegetable oil, lemon juice, chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, coriander, garam masala, fenugreek, salt, and food coloring.

2. Mix everything together thoroughly.

Marinating the Chicken:

1. Make horizontal cuts on the sides of the chicken pieces.

2. Marinate the chicken in the prepared mixture.

Adding Smoky Flavor:

1. Light a hot charcoal and drizzle it with a little vegetable oil.

2. Place the charcoal in the mixing bowl with the marinated chicken.

3. Cover the bowl for 5 minutes to infuse a smoky flavor.

4. Refrigerate the marinated chicken for 2 hours.

Roasting the Chicken:

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Place the marinated chicken in a roasting pan.

3. Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for one hour using the bottom flame.

Serving:

1. Serve your delicious Tandoori Chicken with naan bread or rice and a side salad.
