Green Peas with Meat |
Serve this healthy green dish to your family and enjoy the old traditional taste of the middle east
Preparation Time: 10 minutes approximately
Cooking Time: 40 minutes approximately
Serves: 4 persons
All you need
1 can al alali Garden Peas (drained)
200 g boneless lamb meat
1/2 cup al alali Tomato Paste
4 tbsp. corn oil
1 cube al alali Chicken Stock
1 tbsp. ghee
Salt to taste
1 tsp. al alali Ground White Pepper
1 tsp. al alali Ground Cinnamon
1 onion finely chopped
5 cloves garlic finely chopped
1/2 kg. carrots cubed
1/2 bunch fresh coriander finely chopped
1 cup hot water
Directions
- In a pot heat ghee and corn oil. Sauté onion and half the quantity of garlic
- Add the meat and cook for 10 minutes
- Add al alali Cinnamon, al alali White Pepper and al alali Tomato Paste, mix continuously
- Pour al alali Chicken Stock dissolved in water and stir
- Add al alali Garden Peas. Cover and cook for 5 minutes
- Meanwhile, fry carrots in a separate pan. Set aside
- In the same pan, fry remaining garlic and coriander until soft
- Add the fried carrots, garlic and coriander to the mixture. Stir
- Serve hot with rice and enjoy
