  2. This hummus is fabulous! I loved the refreshing taste left on the palate from the lemons. It is exactly the right amount of lemon. I did have to add extra liquid because my food processor is a little bit old but I saved the liquid from the beans and used about half of that to make it smoother. I also added a 1/4 tsp of smoked paprika which I intended to sprinkle on top but accidentally added it to the processor. It was a good addition.

  8. We love this hummus. I soak and sprout a massive batch of chickpeas once a month, cook them in the slow cooker and then freeze them in 3 cup portions so that I can always pull a bag out and make a double batch. Thank you for the recipe!

  9. I love this recipe. Instead of using all lemon juice, I substituted 1/4 of the lemon for lime juice and it worked really well to give an even brighter flavor. I did not have cayenne pepper and used ground New Mexico chili in its place. Wonderful. I will definitely make this again.
